Border Terriers bond to the whole family, and are considered excellent with children. They are also excellent watchdogs and a dog lover's dog.

Colour - Red, grizzle and tan, blue and tan, or wheaten.

Coat - Undercoat is short and dense; its outer coat is very wiry and close-lying.

Temperament - Lively, loving, good natured and alert.
