A lap dog of a short legged breed with long hair and a snub nose. They have been called Lion Dogs because of their massive fronts and heavy manes. Good as watch dogs.

Colour - All colors and markings are allowed and equal in value, except albino and brown. In the multi-color variety, markings are evenly distributed.

Coat - Extravagant, long, straight-flowing

Temperament - They are sensitive, independent and extremely affectionate.

Life Span - 10-15 years.
