One of the oldest terriers, Fox terrier primarily a companion dog. It has, two varieties, the Smooth and the Wire.

Height - 15 - 16 inches

Weight - 6-9kg for wire fox terrier, 6.8- 8.6kg for smooth fox terrier.

Colour - White with tan or black markings. White should be predominate.

Coat - Dense and very wiry for wire fox terrier, Dense coat of sleek short hairs which may not be thin anywhere on his body for smooth fox terrier.

Temperament - Alert, determined, eager, trustworthy, affectionate.

Life Span - 12 - 14 Years.
